The 'F-word' Girl a.k.a The Dirty Pirate Hooker

    All will be explained soon.

    Rachel

    Dirty Pirate Hooker

    :(Edit):

    So. The F-Word girl.

Little Brother's Friend: I know the f-word, but I'm not allowed to say it. Here, I'll whisper it in your ear, L*!

Me (assuming what said 'f-word' was): No, no! (laughs nervously) Don't do that!  No corrupting him with cursing, evil child!

:(Okay, so I didn't actually say that last part, but I assure you I was thinking it.):

Later on that evening, the cute little devil decided to draw a heart for Valentine's day and split it in hald between myself and my cousin.

Little Brother's Friend: Okay, so one half goes to the skinny girl, and one goes to the f-word girl.

Me: Oh. !!! thinks: so that's what he meant by f-word.

I don't know whether to laugh because I assumed he meant what any 21 year old would, or whether to cry because a seven year old called me the *gasp* fat girl.

    Children are amazingly blunt.

Now, as for the Dirty Pirate Hooker pseudonym...

Kris: So, Ashley found out that you told me she said I was so cute the first time she met me.

    Me: So? She did.

Kris: She told me to tell you that you are a Dirty Pirate Hooker.

Me: Huh. Never been called that one before.

:(I know. It's not that funny, but as per usual, you had to be there.):

Yay, I explained it finally. You were just waiting on the edge of your seat for those explanations, weren't you?! Yeah. I didn't think so.

    Later!

    And yet...

Things can turn back around just as quickly.

I am pretty much convinced that I will never find love, nor happiness, nor success, at all. I'm seriously wishing life would cut me some slack. Right when it seems things might be getting better, a bunch of other crap has to happen to make me feel terribly unloved and unliked and just generally depised.

I've got a lot to be thankful for, and I am. Thankful. I try to be a pretty good person-smile a lot, say nice things to people (and actually mean them),  and all that. I don't think I've done anything truly horrible in my life. I've been stupid at times, yes, but other than that...I just don't know. I guess I just have a sign on my forehead that says "Kick me, treat me terribly, walk all over me." Must be pretty small writing to fit all of that, but still...

Okay. I've got to stop being so silly.

Here's something I am thankful for, after all that depressing nonsense above: Today's weather was absolutely gorgeous. I live for days like today. And I talked to a couple good friends today. I had lunch with my mom, and I got a few things done. I also got a great haircut. It's ridiculous how easily things can kill my good mood. Like I said, I'm just being silly and dramatic.

I guess I just needed to vent a little.

  • Looking Up...

Things are looking up, and I'm starting to take control of the current situation that is my life, but I'm still feeling pretty small, metaphorically of course.

Wish me best of luck, and pray for me if you're the praying sort. Just a little mention to the Big Man. I need all the prayerful intervention I can get.

    Textbooks...

    ...are ridiculously expensive. Seriously.

Tell me why exactly I buy a USED textbook for $80+, but when I go to sell it back, I only get around $10-15? It makes absolutely no sense, and I despise the textbook companies. They say furniture has the highest mark-ups? I believe textbooks could give furniture a run for its money. Literally.

I am going to bed. Night.

I have a chatboard. It's like...chatter box from a few years ago, only it comes with it now. I realize now why I always like Xanga better than myspace or Facebook.
